At our Investment Management Committee in September 2018 we were very pleased to welcome two new grantees to our portfolio – Voscur and Bristol and Bath Regional Capital, which will be working closely in partnership to deliver their Connect Fund projects.
Their work will bridge the support gap between infrastructure organisations and the requirements of social investment intermediaries. Together, they will take VCSEs through their social investment journeys, from outreach and engagement to investment readiness and due diligence. You can find more details on our Funded Work page.
You can hear more about how the projects funded in our second round are supporting voluntary sector infrastructure organisations, community foundations and membership bodies to enable them to develop shared approaches to engage with social investment in the Connect Fund Introducing New Grantees Webinar. If you missed our first webinar, introducing the projects awarded on Round 1, you can watch it here.
Both webinars provide an overview of the Connect Fund, its current grant portfolio, and the key themes and issues that have emerged. Connect Fund Manager, Jessica Brown, and Connect Fund Assistant Manager, Liz Hayes, present each of the 44 grants that have been made to date.
Sit back and enjoy!
