On An Equal Footing, the project funded by the Connect Fund, and run by Lincolnshire Community Foundation in partnership with Sortified, aims to support and empower more women, and women-led community organisations across the East Midlands to access Social Investment opportunities. The support is provided via sharing knowledge, providing facilitated learning and discussion, and supporting development of ideas, projects, and organisations through access to Social Investment financial models.

As part of the project, the On An Equal Footing website has been launched, offering a wide range of resources, including podcasts and the presentations used during the interactive learning workshops which took place last year as part of the project. The idea of the workshops were to give women, and women-led Community Sector organisations an introduction to Social Investment and to explore the opportunities and benefits that it could bring to their organisations.
